These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of [YOUR BUSINESS/TRADING NAME]'s ("we," "us," "the Platform") event website, ticketing, and guest management service (the "Service"). By creating an account, generating an event website, buying a ticket, or RSVPing to an event through the Service, you agree to these Terms.

There are two kinds of users of this Service: Organizers, who create and manage events, and Guests, who RSVP to or buy tickets for those events. Some sections apply only to one group — we've marked those clearly.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an Organizer account. Guests RSVPing or purchasing tickets on behalf of a minor (e.g., a family event) should be an adult providing consent for that minor's attendance.

2. The Service

We provide a platform that lets Organizers generate an event website using AI, sell tickets or collect free RSVPs, communicate with guests via WhatsApp/SMS, and check guests in at the event using our scanning tools.

We are a platform, not the organizer of your event. We are not a party to the relationship between an Organizer and their Guests beyond facilitating payment, communication, and check-in through our Service.

3. Organizer Responsibilities

As an Organizer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your event (date, location, pricing, capacity)
  • Honor the tickets and RSVPs sold or collected through the Service
  • Comply with all applicable laws regarding your event (permits, safety, age restrictions, tax obligations on your proceeds)
  • Not use the Service to sell tickets to fraudulent, illegal, or misleading events
  • Not use the Service to send unsolicited or unrelated marketing messages to guests beyond legitimate event communications

You are solely responsible for the content of your event (descriptions, photos you upload, and any AI-generated content you publish) and for the conduct of your event itself.

4. Guest Responsibilities

As a Guest, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information so you can receive your ticket/RSVP confirmation and any event updates
  • Use tickets only for their intended event and not resell or transfer them in violation of the Organizer's stated policy
  • Follow the Organizer's own event rules and policies (dress code, age restrictions, venue rules, etc. — these are the Organizer's, not ours)

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [SUPPORT EMAIL] if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Paystack (and/or Flutterwave). We do not store your full card details. By making a payment, you also agree to Paystack's own terms of service.

Platform fee. We charge a platform service fee on paid ticket sales, disclosed to Organizers at the time of ticket-type setup. This fee is deducted from the gross sale amount before payout to the Organizer.

Refunds.

  • Organizers may issue refunds to Guests through the Service for their own events, subject to the Organizer's own stated refund policy.
  • The platform fee is non-refundable on Organizer-initiated refunds (i.e., where the event proceeds as planned and the Organizer chooses to refund a Guest at their own discretion).
  • Where a refund is required due to a fault of the Service itself (e.g., a duplicate charge caused by a processing error), the platform fee associated with that transaction will also be refunded.
  • Chargebacks initiated by a Guest through their bank or card provider, after a payout to the Organizer has already been made, may be recovered from the Organizer's future payouts or billed directly to the Organizer.

Payouts. Organizer payouts are issued on the schedule disclosed within the Service (subject to change with notice), and may be delayed for fraud review, dispute resolution, or verification purposes.

7. Free Events / RSVPs

Free RSVP collection through the Service is provided at no charge to Organizers, subject to reasonable usage limits disclosed within the Service.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law
  • Sell tickets to fraudulent or non-existent events
  • Harass, threaten, or send unwanted communications to any person
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service in a way that could overwhelm or disrupt it, outside of normal use
  • Upload content (including photos) that is illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of any third party

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

We are not responsible for:

  • The conduct, safety, or actual occurrence of any event listed through the Service — that responsibility rests with the Organizer
  • Disputes between Organizers and Guests regarding event quality, content, or conduct
  • Losses caused by an Organizer's misuse of Guest information outside the scope of this Service

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount of fees you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with reasonable notice where practicable. You may stop using the Service at any time; certain obligations (e.g., outstanding payment or refund obligations) survive termination.

11. Governing Law and Disputes
